Our women's bible study this fall will be the Old Testament book of Ecclesiastes. We will be using our study to follow along with the Sunday morning sermon series on Ecclesiastes. Please register by Sunday, August 23.
The book of Ecclesiastes is one of the wisdom books of the Bible. It is written from the perspective of the Preacher: someone who has it all, has seen it all, and has tried it all. His conclusion? All is vanity. But even in our lives where many things are hard and every good thing slips through the fingers, there is wisdom to be found in this beautiful, decaying world. Life is meant as a gift, not gain. We can, indeed, find joy in a fleeting world.
Our study will include the homework guide, a brief weekly teaching by TBC teachers, and small group discussion and prayer. Group discussion will happen in gatherings during the week, but the PRIMARY teaching for Ecclesiastes will be the upcoming Sunday sermon. The weekly study will serve the purpose of priming the heart for the preached word on Sundays.
These gatherings are precious and go a long way toward helping us grow in knowledge of God and our relationships with each other.

1) Monday Evenings, 7pm-8:30pm. OFF CAMPUS, CENTRAL VALLEY. Selena Means' Home (31st Ave and Peoria). Begins Monday 8/31.
2) Monday Evenings, 6:30pm-8pm. OFF CAMPUS, NORTHWEST VALLEY. Heather DiPrimio's Home (67th Ave and Union Hills). Begins Monday 8/31.
3) Wednesday Mornings, 9:30am-11:30am. ON CAMPUS - TBC Fellowship Hall. Begins Wednesday, 9/2.

The Ecclesiastes homework guide was written in-house by Stephanie Franklin and Sydney Jodon. It is necessary to purchase the homework guide to get the most out of the study. You can purchase a homework guide on this form for $10.
You can pick up your purchased homework guide Sundays August 23 and 30 in the lobby before and after the service.
We understand these are financially difficult times for people! Scholarships are available to those for whom cost would be prohibitive.
Childcare (Wednesdays Only)
We are able to offer childcare for our Wednesday morning study for children ages 0 through 12 years old at $10/child (one-time fee). Please submit payment for childcare with this form. We will follow up with you if we need additional information or paperwork for your child(ren).
There is no childcare for the Monday evening sections of the study.
